Join us for an unforgettable Songwriters Weekend at Kennedy Creek Resort featuring Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame Singer/Songwriter Hal Coleman for a 2-day Songwriter/Performer Workshop designed to teach you how to write, market, perform, and make money with your music.

Whether you’re an aspiring songwriter, performing musician, or someone serious about learning the business side of music, this weekend is for you.

What You’ll Learn from Hal Coleman

Over two full days, Hal will teach:

  • How to write commercial songs

  • How to market your songs

  • How to make money from your music

  • How to get gigs

  • How to get higher-paying gigs

  • How to earn more tips while performing

  • Music business networking

  • And much more from his 50+ years of experience in the industry

Hal has had songs recorded by Jerry Reed, Ray Stevens, and The Burch Sisters, and his song “The Bird” reached #1 on the country charts.

Weekend Schedule

Lodging Information (First Come, First Served)

All lodging rentals are first come, first served, and special event pricing is available on the website for the first 50 people to register.

  • Primitive camping

Dormitory beds are available for those wanting a budget-friendly option.

⚠️ Please note: The “Cub” cabin is already rented.

Cabin Details & Subleasing Option

Cabins are ideal for groups and include:

  • 3 bedrooms

    • 1 King bed

    • 2 Double beds

    • Twin beds

  • Master bath downstairs

  • Full bath upstairs

Guests renting cabins are welcome to sublease bedrooms to friends or fellow attendees at their discretion.

We recommend reviewing the cabin floor plans on the website when booking.

We'll have Guided trailrides, cornhole and axe throwing, live music and a charity raffle with all proceeds going to Beyond Roads Outreach. There will be a restaurant and bar onsite.
