Runways, 2 & 20, 2,000’ x 60’ ,  good grass, level ,

Obstacles  low fence at end of both runways,

RW 20,   Trees 400 feet from west end , falling terrain beyond trees. 

RW 2, Trees 500 feet from east  end, rising terrain beyond trees

In places out side 60’ wide runway ground slopes down steeply. Critical to maintain center line.  

Windsock midfield.   If wind light wind blows in line with runways p or down valley and  no cross wind below tree tops. 

Pattern, fly modified  pattern left turn  close to   runway to avoid hills on either side of valley, fly  left turning teardrop from  downwind to base to final.  

Parking.  Grass meadows at end of runways and midfield, Ok to taxi to midfield camping sites,  cabins , or tavern.

Gas. Closest AV  gas at Blairsville, KDZJ, cheapest AV gas at Elliott Field, 09GE, open to public, closest public airport, Lumpkin,9AO – no gas.   Limited AV gas and 90 octane unleaded no ethanol gas at GA87  in emergency.
